Sadia

With more than 80 years of life, BRF has become one of the largest food companies in the world thanks to the birth of its main brands. It was in the 1930s, in the interior of Santa Catarina, that Perdigão (Perdix) emerged as a small business of two families of Italian immigrants. In the following decade, it was the turn of Concordia, also in Santa Catarina, to receive Sadia. Since then, the merger of these two businesses in 2009 has given rise to one of the largest agro-industrial complexes in the world, BRF.
